COMMENTS: 	Station OCO at Omniplex Science Museum has been part of the Oklahoma Geological Survey network 
		for over 15 years. The station is volunteer operated, and until 2/2002 used two thermal paper drums for 
		daily records. In February 2002 the conversion to digital recording was completed using the existing 
		seismometer. The display is available for public viewing at the museum.

GND TYPE:  	The seismometers are mounted on a concrete slab floor in my home. The slab probably rests on several feet of 
		saprolite 	over metamorphic rock. There is some local environmental noise.
COMMENTS: 	As of 16 june 2007, I have restarted the seismometers after a long hiatus. Prior to the hiatus, I got great 
		performance from the instruments, having detected quakes from around the world. The system has a sample rate of 5 
		SPS for each channel. Unfortunately, I do not have a precison time base, but rely on the computer's clock with 
		periodic updates. Details on the seismometer construction can be found here on the home page listed above.

Comments:  	Our seismic devices are contained inside a clear Acrylic box with their covers removed so students can see what 
		seismometers look like. They are setting on a cement floor in the school book room. Gilroy is located about midway

		railroad tracks and US Highway 101 which explains most of our noise.
