Storms of 21 Jan 2006
Cells Across Western Sydney and into the Mountains

The first storms developed over the far western Sydney suburbs. Cindy, Sam and I headed out west for
an intercept. The cells going up looked good as we headed towards the mountains via the M4 motorway.
The was one large cell to the north, moving across the Hawkesbury region and another couple of smaller
ones directly ahead, roughly over the Katoomba area, and being more accessable we chased these ones.
Unfortunately they fizzled out and it became a bust chase.
The last pic is from the Mt Piddington lookout, near Mt. Victoria
